Shantaram Bidari has been elected the Chair of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Kathmandu chapter on Monday. Bidari is the editor of the 'Daman Post'.
The chief election officer Govinda Pokharel shared that Bidari-led team from Press Chautari Nepal won the election.
Similarly, Surya Subedi (vice chair under open category), Seeta Pokharel (vice chair under woman category), Mohan Panta (Secretary), Ram Sharan Majhi and Ameer Lama, and Ram Chandra Basnet (treasurer) were elected from the election.
As many as 878 votes were cast in the election out of the total 1,375 voters in the chapter. RSS
