A Mahindra Bolero SUV crashed nearly 300 metres down the road at Kamalmai-2 in Sindhuli district on Wednesday night, killing two persons.

The vehicle with the registration number, Na 1 Ja 5444, was en route to Bardibas from Kathmandu via the BP Koirala Highway when it crashed after its driver lost control of the wheels.

Police said Jaya Kumar Yadav and Saroj Mandal of Dhanusha died in the incident. Eight others, including the driver of the car, were injured. The conditions of four injured persons are said to be critical.
