A man died after a tipper hit a scooter he was riding on at Kamal Binayak in Bhaktapur Municipality-4 on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Thaiju, 26, of Jhaukhel, Changunarayan-7, Bhaktapur.
Critically injured in the incident, Thaiju was rushed to the Dr Iwamura Memorial Hospital, Bhaktapur, but he breathed his last during the course of treatment, police said.
Police said that they have impounded the tipper and arrested its driver for investigation.
