NA command, staff course begins
The ‘Command and Staff Course Training’ for 58 national and international security officers kicked off at Nepal Army Command and Staff College located in Shivapuri on the outskirts of the Capital on Monday.The ‘Command and Staff Course Training’ for 58 national and international security officers kicked off at Nepal Army Command and Staff College located in Shivapuri on the outskirts of the Capital on Monday.
Fourty-four majors of Nepal Army, a deputy superintendent of Nepal Police, two deputy superintendents of Armed Police, an investigating officer of the National Investigation Department, two student officers from the neighbouring country China, and one each from Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Maldives, Pakistan, Srilanka, South Korea and the United States are participating in the training. Inauguration the training programme, Lieutenant General of Nepal Army Purna Chandra Thapa informed the participants that the training would help them monitor any kind of complex and challengeable security situations, to strengthen the capacity of planning and execution. Major General Devendra Bahadur Medhasi delivered a welcome speech to officially start the programme.
Executive Officer of Nepal Civil Staff College Punya Prasad Neupane, Dean of the Tribhuwan University Humanities Stream Professor Shivalala Bhusal, army generals, former education officers were among others present in the programme.
