The Election Commission on Wednesday received various kinds of election-related materials as support from China for the upcoming May 14 elections.
Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong handed over the goods worth Rs. 144 million to the EC Secretary Gopinath Mainali at a function held at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
Meanwhile, the 30,000 ballot boxes purchased by the Commission through bidding process has arrived at the Rasuwa transit with China and is expected to be handed over to the Commission in a few days, Secretary Mainali said on the occasion. RSS
