A rape case has been filed at the District Court against a 72-year-old man accused of raping a 10-year-old girl in Mahottari district.

Kumar Pandey of Pipara Municipality-2 in the district had reportedly raped the second grade student on her way home after school on March 13.

Pandey is reported to have lured the girl into his home and raped her. The rape case was filed on Thursday, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dipak Pokharel. RSS
