Newly appointed Inspector General (IG) of Police Prakash Aryal called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday, a day after he was appointed the chief of the security agency.
During the meeting, PM Dahal laid stress on the need for making strong and reliable security arrangements for the upcoming local level elections, according to an aide to the prime minister.
PM Dahal also directed Aryal to execute his responsibilities and that of his whole department in a disciplined and impartial way keeping in mind the approaching polls that are slated for May 14.
