Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the constitution will be implemented fully only after holding three tiers of elections.
Addressing party’s election assembly in Tulsipur on Monday, the NC chief said that the elections could not be held without forging a consensus with the Madhes-based parties.
Stating that a rift between the people of Hills and Madhes may disintegrate the country, Deuba urged the CPN-UML and the Madhesi parties to refrain from making any statement that hurts the sentiments of Madhes and Hills. He also underscored the need of reconciliation in the country now as stated by NC leader the late BP Koirala. (PR)
