An Armed Police Force (APF) head constable died in a jeep accident at Jhamarsi, Kalinchok Rural Municipality in the district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Mohan Bahadur Ghimire, who was driving the APF’s jeep (Ba 9 Cha 9360) en route to the district headquarters Charikot from Lamabagar of Bigu Rural Municipality of the district, APF sources said.
Similarly, boarded on the same vehicle, DSP Shambhu Jung Thapa and police constable Shiva Kumar Majhi also sustained critical injuries, said APF DSP Rabin Karki at the district office.
The incident site is 25 kilometres away from the district headquarters Charikot. RSS
