Two incidents of property crime were reported in the Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.
Property worth around Rs 100,000 was stolen from a house at Simaltar in Boudha-6.
Police said that gold ornaments worth around Rs 100,000 and a camera were stolen from the house of Dolma Sharma.
Similarly, cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 119,000 were stolen from the house of Madan Dahal at Nayabato in Sanepa of Lalitpur Municipality-3.
According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves barged into the house of Dahal after breaking the padlock of the main door and decamped with Rs 13,000 in cash and various gold ornaments.
Police said that they are looking into both cases.
