Two people died when a bus and a motorcycle collided near Babagas of Khairahani-9 in Chitwan district on Monday.
A bus (Na 5 Kha 8967) en route to Kathmandu from Sarlahi rammed a motorcycle (Ba 75 Pa 945) coming from the opposite direction, leaving all three persons riding the bike injured.
Of those injured, 21-year-old Narayan Bohara and 19-year-old Josev Darai succumbed to injuries in course of treatment, informed District Police Office.
Police said another injured Ishwor Kandel is critical.
Police have detained driver Prem Khadka of Sarlahi into custody and initiated investigation.
