Jhapa’s first lawyer no more
The first lawyer of Jhapa district, Naresh Kumar Verma, passed away on Saturday. He was 74.

The first lawyer of Jhapa district, Naresh Kumar Verma, passed away on Saturday. He was 74. He was suffering from cancer for a long time.
Verma had entered the law profession in 2026 BS and had established a law firm in Jhapa in 2027 BS.
Senior lawyer Leela Udasi said Verma used to advocate the cause of helpless and poor people.
