A two-year-old boy died when a fire broke out at a hut in Gerkhu of Nuwakot district on Friday afternoon.

According to DSP Rishi Ram Kandel of the District Police Office, Nuwakot, the deceased has been identified Sushil Nepal of Gerkhu, Bidur Municipality-11.

Police said that Nepal breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu.

The incident occurred while he was playing with his three-year-old brother Samir, DSP Kandel informed. RSS
