An 18-month-old girl drowned in a puddle in a brick kiln in Belkotgadhi Municipality-8, Nuwakot, on Sunday.

Police identified the victim as Nandani Majhi, the daughter of Jayakaran Majhi of Moura in Sarlahi district. Police said the girl had fallen into the puddle accidentally.

Her body was handed over to the family after postmortem. (PR)
