A person died and another sustained critical injuries in a bus-motorbike collision at Manahera in Dhangadhi on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as biker Dipendra Budha of Dhangadhi.

Police said that pillion rider Lokesh Thapa was injured in the incident.

The incident occurred when the bus (Ba 3 Kha 1633) heading towards Dhangadhi from Phulbari collided head-on with the two-wheeler (Se 4 Pa 7137) last night.

Police said that Thapa was initially taken to the Seti Zonal Hospital for treatment and later referred to a hospital in Kathmandu

Police have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation. RSS
