NRA decides on Rs 200,00 land purchase fund

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the NRA on Friday decided to recommend the Cabinet to provide Rs 200,000 each to 1,500 quake-affected households to purchase land to build homes, as recommended by a task force formed to identity the settlements that are at landslide and other geological risks.
The meeting also decided to include 15,743 people from 14 of the 17 quake-affected districts on the list of aid beneficiaries. NRA Chief Executive Officer Govinda Pokhrel said the teams led by NRA executive members will visit the districts from Tuesday to impart training on aid agreement process.
The meeting also decided to form a committee to amend the work procedure to manage the complaints on restructuring and rehabilitation
