Police on Saturday arrested 13 banda enforcers from different places of Kaski district.
Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist had called the banda today to protest the Kanchanpur incident.
Gobinda Gautam, 32, of Ananda Bazaar, Punarbas Municipality-8, Kanchanpur district was killed after India’s Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB) allegedly opened fire at border on Thursday.
According to DSP Khadga Bahadur Khatri of the District Police Office, Kaski, they were nabbed from Prithvi Chok and Sisuwa while they were forcing shops and markets to shut down.
