Newly appointed Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Dilnath Giri has opined for managing the tourism sector as it had a great importance for the economic development of the nation.

In an interaction organized by the Reporters' Club here on Friday, Minister Giri said that the peace and stability were essential for the development of tourism.

He added that the government should coordinate with private sector to publicise the national heritage, diversity, beauty and multiplicity of the nation in international arena.

It may be noted that the Minister Giri had assumed the office today itself. RSS
