Lok Bahadur Thapa, ambassador of Nepal to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, on Thursday presented his letters of credence to King Willem-Alexander amid a special ceremony held at the Noordeinde Palace in The Hague.
Congratulating Thapa on his appointment as the ambassador to the Netherlands, the Dutch king wished him success in further strengthening the bilateral relations between Nepal and the Netherlands.
The Dutch king also recalled his fond memories of his visit to Nepal in 1997 when he was the crown prince, a statement issued by the Embassy of Nepal in Belgium said. The king also assured Thapa that the Netherlands would continue her support to Nepal’s development efforts.
