Nepal climbed three spots in the latest FIFA ranking.
With the recent ranking made public on Thursday, Nepal have reached 170th position among 209 countries.
Among South Asian nations, India that plunged two positions down still topped the list with its position at 132. Maldives are ranked 140th while Afghanistan are in 156th position.
Nepal have managed to remain above Pakistan (198th), Sri Lanka (197th), Bhutan (177th) and Bangladesh (193rd).
Similarly, Argentina retained the top position followed by Brazil in second position. Germany is trailing Brazil to secure the third position followed by Chile, Belgium and France ranked 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.
