A teenage girl was found hanging at Pipara VDC of Mahottari district on Wednesday.
According to the District Police Office, Mahottari, the deceased has been identified as Kajal Kumari Mahaseth, 17, of Pipara-5.
DSP Deepak Pokharel said Mahaseth had gone to bed after dinner last night, but was found hanging from the ceiling with a shawl in a room adjacent to her bedroom this morning.
Her body has been taken to the District Police Office, Jaleshwor, for autopsy, police informed. RSS
