Amjad Hussian B Sial, the newly appointed secretary general of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday. The duo held discussions on the welfare of the Saarc member states, the President’s office said. Sial from Pakistan assumed office on March 1 as the 13th secretary general of Saarc.
