Humla, a mountainous district in the mid-western Nepal, has witnessed continuous snowfall since last night.
The district headquarters Simikot has experienced the chill with the drop in temperature following the snowfall.
People of the northern part are facing difficulty to visit the district headquarters as the trails are blocked by the snow.
However, people of south Humla are elated as they hope that snowfall in right time will benefit their crops. RSS
The Heldum Small Hydropower Project here has cut off electricity supply for the past four months in the absence of sufficient water, the project said.
Almost all sources of drinking water have dried up as there was no snowfall here since November last year.
