A Nepal Army bomb disposal squad has been sent for from Nepalgunj to defuse two IEDs (improvised explosive device) that was recovered in a filed at Chaurjahari VDC-8 in Rukum on Friday.
A farmer had discovered the IEDs wrapped in a plastic and buried in his field. Deputy Superintendent of Police Angur GC said the IEDs could have been buried by the former Maoist rebels during the civil war. Police have cordoned off the area. (PR)
