Health Minister Gagan Thapa has expressed his commitment to donate his organs.
According to Minister Thapa’s press aide Jivan Bhandari, Minister Thapa on Sunday signed an agreement paper promising to donate his kidney, heart, lungs, liver, pancreas and small intestine after his death.
According to Nepal’s Human Body Organ Transplantation Act 1998, a person willing to donate his body parts after death is required to fill a prescribed format pronouncing his authorisation.
