An elderly man was injured after he was attacked by a leopard in Kalikot on Tuesday.

The injured has been identified as Hanumante, 60, of Kalikot VDC-7.

Police said that the incident occurred when he had gone to collect fodder for cattle.

He was initially taken to a local health centre for treatment and later referred to the Gandaki Medical College in Pokhara.
