Nawalparasi
A woman from Paklihawa VDC-9 of Nawalparasi district, who was set on fire by her husband on Saturday night, died during treatment at the Butwal-based Lumbini Zonal Hospital on Sunday.
Jadawati Musahar, 30, was doused in kerosene and set on fire by her husband, Minnu, following domestic dispute on Saturday night, police said.
She was rescued by her neighbours and taken to Martyr Memorial Community Hospital at Chaupata. As her treatment was not possible there, she was referred to Lumbini Zonal Hospital.
Police said Minnu, who had fled after the incident, was arrested the same night from Ramnagar. (PR)
