Janakpur Extensive Area Development Council Chairman Ram Kumar Sharma and Naya Shakti Party Joint Coordinator Kalamuddin Raeen and youth campaigner Mithileshowr Das ended their hunger strike after 16 days on Friday after Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi assured to address their demand within a month. They had begun the protest demanding development works in Janakpur. The government has agreed to  form a talks team to discuss the protesters’ demand. (PR)
