An elderly man died in a tiger attack at Gaindakot, Nawalparasi district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Santu Maya Lama.

According to Krishna Prasad Devkota, a forest officer at Kawasoti, the incident occurred while Lama had gone to the Nandan Community Forest to collect fodder.
