CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Friday paid tribute to Milan Rai, CC member of the party aligned All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), by reaching the party central office.

His body has been kept at the party office to pay last respect.

Rai, 27, who was critically injured in a road accident in Bhaktapur on February 7, breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Bir Hospital.

Preparations are underway to take the body to his home district Khotang for last rites, according to ANNFSU secretary RC Lamichhane.

Party Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal, and General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel among other leaders had also paid their last respects to Rai.
