Kathmandu University remains padlocked for the past 10 days, affecting teaching and learning activities.

The All Nepal National Free Students Union has padlocked various departments of the university including the administration to protest the halt of the student welfare council election on various pretexts. The protestors have demanded the holding of the election at the earliest.

University Register Dr Bhola Thapa said talks were on with the protesters to resume classes. RSS
