Three persons were killed when a Biratnagar-bound bus on Saturday hit a motorcycle at Haripur-8 in Sunsari district. Police have identified two of the deceased as Suman Bastola of Hasandaha, Morang and Kanchha Tamang of Itahari. Both were on the motorcycle.

Identity of the third victim is yet to be ascertained. It is not clear whether he was also on the bike or he was a pedestrian, said police.

Similarly in Gulmi, eight persons were injured when a Scorpio jeep swerved off the road and fell some 100 metres in Thanapati-2 on Saturday. Condition of three is said to be critical.
