Janakpur
Shutdown of pharmacies and private clinics enforced by the Janakpur chapter of Nepal Chemist and Druggist Association on Friday left many patients in the lurch.
The association shut pharmacies and clinics to protest raids conducted on Tuesday by a team of the assistant chief district officer, representatives of the District Public Health Office and revenue department.
The government team had padlocked at least 22 pharmacies after they were found to be running illegally. (PR)
