Disqualified chief of the Commission for Investigation for Abuse of Authority Lokman Singh Karki left the CIAA quarters on Thursday. Karki was removed from the post by the Supreme Court on Friday.
A senior official at the anti-corruption body confirmed that he had vacated the quarters. Karki was suspended on October 19 when an impeachment motion against him was registered in Parliament.
His Old Baneshwor-based residence has been rented out to a multi-national company, said sources, adding that he had not interacted with anyone before leaving the quarters.
