Damak
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has claimed that the constitution amendment bill would not be endorsed at any cost. Inaugurating a pedestrian overpass in Damak, Jhapa, on Tuesday, the former prime minister said the proposal for separating the Tarai from the Hills in Province 5 would not be endorsed. He challenged the government to endorse the bill. “The UML cannot be part of an issue that is harmful to the country,” said Oli. Stating that elections should be conducted to implement the constitution, Oli claimed that the UML would head the government after polls.
