The Supreme Court on Monday slapped two persons with a one-month jail term for smearing soot on Lokman Singh Karki while he had been to the court last month to serve his summon notice.
A division bench of Justices Anand Mohan Bhattarai and Anil Kumar Sinha issued the order that Prakash Shahi and Chandra Bahadur Budha be sentenced to one month in prison for smearing soot on Karki’s face on the SC premises on December 22.
