A meeting of the Legislature-Parliament on Monday unanimously endorsed the proposal seeking consideration on the 'Local tier election Bill, 2073'.
The proposal was tabled by Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi. The meeting also approved unanimously the 'election (offense and penalty) bill, 2073'.
Also at the meeting today, Chairperson of the Finance Committee Prakash Jwala tabled the Committee's supplementary report on the bill relating to banks and financial institutions. The Parliament will meet next at 1:00 pm on January 10. RSS
