Okhaldhunga
Life in the mountainous region of Okhaldhunga district has become difficult after a week-long snowfall.
People have been forced to remain indoors because of freezing cold.
The first few days of snowfall was fun for most people living in the region.
Khil Bahadur Magar of Jantarkhani village said people from different parts of the district visited to play in snow but the novelty wore off as the snowfall continued.
Some parts of the region has received snowfall up to two feet, affecting public mobility.
Vehicular movement along the Okhaldhunga-Solukhumbu road has also been hit, with some parts blocked for the past four days. Most of all, Magar said, they were worried about their crops.
