An unmarried girl has killed her infant son after giving birth to him at Chapagaun in Lalitpur district.
Anisha Tamang, 18, of Irkhu VDC in Sindhupalchowk district killed the baby a week ago after slitting the throat with blade in a toilet to hide the incident from relatives and society, according to police investigation. She has been living here with her sister and brother-in-law.
Police have also arrested Krishna Bahadur Tamang, brother in relation to Anisha, on the charge of helping Anisha in the incident.
Both of them have already confessed their crime, said Chief at Chapagaun-based Metropolitan Police Circle, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shyam Kumar Rai. RSS
