Theatre artist Bishnu Bhakta Phuyal died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday. He was 79.
Phuyal collapsed all of sudden while performing in a play written by Satya Mohan Joshi, said an eyewitness Shiromani Dawad. He was taken to Bir Hospital after the incident.
Born on Bhadra 23, 1994 BS at Thakalmat in Bhaktapur, Phuyal was former chairman of Jananatya Manch. Phuyal, active in theatre for around five decades, has performed in many dramas, tele-serials and films.
'Abiral Bagdachha Indrabati' and Tito Satya' are among the famous tele-serials played by Phuyal. He has performed in more than 500 dramas.
Phuyal, suffering from diabetes since long, is survived by three sons. RSS
