Detonators recovered in cave
A huge cache of detonators was discovered in a forest cave at Swanra VDC-9 in Gorkha on Tuesday.

A huge cache of detonators was discovered in a forest cave at Swanra VDC-9 in Gorkha on Tuesday. According to the District Police Office (DPO), 3,941 electronic detonators were found in the cave by a cattle herder.
Superintendent of Police Janak Raj Pandey said the detonators were wrapped in sacks and stored inside a case.
He suspected that the detonators were hidden by the former Maoist rebels during the insurgency period. Stray improvised explosive device had been recovered in the same VDC three years ago.
