4 Nepalis among 6 killed in India jeep accident

A jeep accident in India’s Uttarakhand state killed six people including four Nepalis on Sunday. The accident took place at Lohaghat in Chamwawat district of Uttarakhand.
The Nepalis killed in the accident were family members from Sarmali in Baitadi district. The deceased have been identified as 62-year-old Govinda Saud, his 54-year-old brother Basudev, sister-in-law Gomati Devi and 5-year-old nephew Aayush.
It is learnt the jeep plunged 300 metres from the road. There were altogether 16 people in the vehicles out of which 10 are injured. Six injured people are Nepali.
