Manang sees season's first snowfall; temperature plummets to sub-zero (with photos)

Manang experienced the first snowfall of this year. According to Tashi Danduk Ghale of Tallo Pisang, snowfall occurred for about four hours in various places of the district on Sunday.
"The southern parts received more snowfall in comparison with northern area today (Sunday)," he added.
Temperature plummeted sharply in the area, leaving the locals in hardships. Chief District Officer Ganja Bahadur MC said the temperature was recorded minus six degree Celsius in Chame, the district headquarters, at 6 pm.
