Australian embassy organises ‘Education for All’ workshop

Altogether 42 alumni from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka working in inclusive education are representing their countries in the workshop titled “Education for All”.
“The workshop provides alumni with an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and understanding of inclusive education policies and practices in the region, and expand their professional networks,” said the Embassy of Australia in Kathmandu in a press release. “Investment in human capacity development through the Australia Awards programme is an important complementary modality to Australia’s other education investments in Nepal and the region.”
“Workshop opportunities such as this provide excellent platforms to network and share experiences aimed at meeting these overall objectives,” the press release quoted Ambassador White as saying at the workshop.
