Dr KC warns of yet another hunger strike
Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital professor and senior orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Govinda KC, has warned of staging another hunger strike, claiming that the government has not implemented the four-point agreement that was reached with him earlier in July.

Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital professor and senior orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Govinda KC, has warned of staging another hunger strike, claiming that the government has not implemented the four-point agreement that was reached with him earlier in July.
Addressing the third convention of the Kathmandu University Professors’ Association on Sunday,
Dr KC said the government has not shown any seriousness towards reforming the country’s health sector.
Dr KC said he will have no option but to go on another hunger strike if the government continues to ignore his demands. He also called for support from all sides to press the government into taking steps to fix the health sector.
