Chargesheet filed against fake doctor

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Wednesday filed a charge sheet at the Special Court against a government doctor for possessing a fake intermediate certificate.
Dr Sunil Acharya, consultant Obstetrics and Gynecologists (9th Level) of the government, had submitted the forged certificate from Rajaram Shah College, Raxaul, India to get an appointment as medical officer on March 11, 2007.
A police investigation found that Acharya had used the certificate to be promoted.
The commission has sought maximum punishment under Corruption Control Act 1961 and Prevention of Corruption Act 2002. (PR)
