Three security personnel died in separate road accidents in Bara and Bajhang districts on Friday.
In Bara, police constables Pawan Mishra, 28, and Kumar Tamang, 33, died when their motorcycle was hit by a car at Piluwa Chowk in Gadhimai-16 along the East-West Highway.
The car driver, Bibek Singh, was injured in the accident. He was taken to a hospital in Simara for treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Binod Sharma.
Similarly, police constable Dan Bahadur Bista, 28, died in a motorcycle crash at Kachali Khola in Bajhang district, the District Police Office said. Bista was on a traffic duty in the highway area.
