The first day of budget session of Parliament on Tuesday concluded within five minutes.

Monday’s house meeting did not take up further business as parliamentary regulations are yet to be finalised. 

Immediately after the House convened on Tuesday, Speaker Onsari Gharti Magar welcomed lawmakers and the meeting observed a minute’s silence in memory of those who were killed in the struggle for democracy and republicanism. 

Then Gharti read out President Bidhya Devi Bhandari’s message and informed the House about the latest Cabinet expansion.  

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 11am.
