Minister for Labour and Employment Dipak Bohara on Tuesday held talks with the agitating foreign employment entrepreneurs and discussed ways to make the activities of the recruiting agencies friendly to the foreign employment seekers.
A meeting held in the wake of the agitation launched by the foreign employment entrepreneurs after the police raids on 18 offices of the recruiting agencies and arrests of some proprietors. The agencies have been on strike since those incidents.
General Secretary of the Foreign Employment Association Rohan Gurung said both the government and the entrepreneurs put forth their views at the meeting to resolve the dispute. The talks will continue on Wednesday. (RSS)
