The 7th national science and technology conference is taking place in the Capital on March 29.
‘Science, Technology and Innovation for Nepal’s Graduation to Developing Country Status’ is the main theme of the three-day conference to be hosted by the Nepal Academy for Science and Technology (Nast).
Around 1,000 scientists and experts from the country and scientists from 10 other countries are taking part in the conference. The key note speakers are Prof CNR Rao from India and Bai Chunli of China.
Working papers aimed at help the post-quake reconstruction in Nepal will be present at the conference to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, according to the conference coordinator Dr Prakash Kumar Poudel.
